Harrow
Primary School Hall Refurbishment
A busy school hall floor fully refurbished during the summer break.
About this project
Daily PE lessons, assemblies and events had worn the hall's maple floor and faded its markings. The work had to be completed during the school holidays.
We sanded the whole floor back to bare timber with dust-free machines, then repaired a small number of damaged boards near the stage. Fresh court lines were painted in before sealing.
Coats of slip-resistant sports lacquer were built up to give the grip and durability a school hall needs. The hall was handed back on schedule, with a maintenance plan to keep it in good condition.
