Church Hall Parquet Restoration
A merbau parquet church hall floor in Harrow repaired, sanded and finished around the hall's bookings.
About this project
The church hall's merbau parquet was used every day by community groups, and areas of loose and lifting blocks had become a trip hazard. The programme was arranged so that the hall's regular groups were not disrupted.
Loose blocks were lifted, cleaned and re-laid, and damaged blocks were replaced with matching merbau. The whole floor was then sanded flat with dust-free equipment.
Three coats of satin lacquer give a durable, easy-clean finish. The hall reopened on time for its weekend events.
