Garden Decking Revival
Decking that looked ready for replacement, restored and protected instead.
About this project
Winter weather had left this garden deck grey, rough and slippery underfoot. The owners were considering replacing it.
We deep cleaned the boards, replaced a couple of split boards and secured loose screws. Sanding removed the grey surface and smoothed the raised grain.
Two coats of UV-resistant decking oil bring out the colour of the timber and protect it from the weather. The deck now looks almost new, at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
